Emergency First Aid at Work

What Courses do we offer?

First Aid At Work - 18 hours
Requalification First Aid At Work - 12 hours *this course requires that you provide proof of a current certificate!
Emergency First Aid At Work - 6 Hours
Annual Refresher - 3 hours

The above courses, which were previously under HSE rules, are all backed by The Association of First Aiders (AoFA) and earn AoFA Qualifications. The AoFA and its qualifications are Ofqual approved.

I also offer Custom courses for companies, Community courses and Parent courses. These are bespoke courses, tailored to the client’s needs within the framework of the regulatory requirements. Please use our Enquiry form to ask for further details on these.

All courses are interactive so rolling around the floor is likely, please ensure that you notify us in advance of any medical or learning issues which may cause problems and we will discuss whether special arrangements are needed and how we can accommodate them.

First Aid At Work & Requalification

This is the industry standard course which the HSE requires companies to have personnel trained to. It is a three day course (18 hours) and covers injuries and illnesses commonly found in a workplace. Requalification First Aid At Work is a two day course (12 hours), but requires the attendee to provide proof of qualification prior to enrolment.

Emergency First Aid At Work

This is a cut down version of the First Aid at Work course which covers many of the injuries likely but less of the illnesses. It is designed for a lower risk environment.

Annual Refresher

This is a half day course (3 hours – AM or PM) and is highly recommended for all first aiders. Many workplaces are safer environments these days and the opportunities to practice your first aid skills may be few. We can all forget things, so this course recaps the most important parts.

Paediatric First Aid 12 hrs

This course is specifically tailored for those people working with children. The Paediatric course is for those working with, or responsible for, under-fives. For older children such as those in Junior or Senior Schools the Emergency First Aid at Work course can be tailored to your needs.
